Why does my Board / Skis need servicing?

You have spent lots of money on your new board or skis, and just like a car it needs to be serviced to keep it riding like a dream.

What are the benefits to my Board or Skis being serviced?

The things you will notice is that you will glide much smoother and faster and you will have better turns down the mountain.

Why does it need wax?

The wax protects your Board or Skis from the water going into the wood core, yes! They are still made from wood, and we all know water and wood are not good friends.

How many times do I need a service?

We recommend the VIP service with the Summer Storage Wax Service once a year as it’s like a mot and edge and wax if you go more than once a year it a good top up on the wax and keep your edges sharp. If you are lucky enough to go 4 or more times a season it’s a good idea to top up the wax for different types of snow e.g., cold snow, ice snow and spring snow slush.

Snowboards and Skis are treated with loving care by hand. I have a full inhouse workshop, that offers a 48 hour turn around. So your snowboard and skis will not be sent out for repairs. Also I offer a Pick up and Drop off Service (details bottom of page).

As an ex junior racer I have been servicing my own equipment from the age of 8 years old and keeping up with new technology today. I put all my love and experience into your snowboard and skis!

SO I DON'T THROW YOUR BOARD/SKIS THROUGH A MACHINE BECAUSE WITH ALL THE NEW MULTIPLE CAMBERS/ROCKERS IT WILL SHORTEN IT'S LIFE.

We do not charge extra for Magne-Traction. 

Snowboarders if you can remove your bindings before you drop off or for pick up please. However do not worry if you cannot, we are happy to remove for you.
